Ongoing Investment and Plan Utilization Monitoring
The investment policy serves as the basis for our ongoing investment monitoring process. Legal cases involving the Department of Labor have inferred a preference towards quarterly investment monitoring over annual monitoring; accordingly, our clients typically establish quarterly investment committee meetings. DC Advisors participates with your investment committee at each quarterly review meeting, providing a concise detailed investment analysis on each fund, including an Investment Policy Report Card gauging fund performance against benchmarks established in the written investment policy.
As part of the ongoing investment monitoring process, DC Advisors will also produce plan utilization reports graphically displaying how participants are using the client’s program. We will work with the plan sponsor to identify areas for improvement and to develop an action plan to address any issues.
