Our approach to providing employee education services includes working with the plan sponsor to develop a communication and educational strategy for the retirement plan and employees. This strategy will identify and direct the optimal methods, timing, and nature of the participant communication and education program.
DC Advisors has found that the investment education programs, materials, and resources available from service providers are excellent tools and these resources should be used as appropriate. However, the provider may lack a strategy relating to using these materials.
Our firms goal is to augment what is presently offered to the plan sponsor by the provider and not duplicate efforts.
If additional materials are desired, DC Advisors provides a series of guides relating to saving, asset allocation, pre-retirement and financial planning. Additionally, we offer a spectrum of employee workshops and seminars to assist plan participants.
DC Advisors seminars and workshops include:
For Plan Sponsors
Fiduciary education
services aimed at increasing the awareness of what it means to be a plan fiduciary.
For Plan Participants
A review of basic
investment concepts including a review of asset classes, a discussion on investment
time horizons, merits of diversification and how each of these concepts impact
a participants asset allocation.
A seminar that goes beyond the basics
of investing and is geared towards more sophisticated investors.
A 529 Plan presentation for employees
that assists them in selecting an appropriate provider and savings track.
