Dan founded Defined Contribution Advisors in 1994, based on a philosophy of total commitment to each client’s retirement plan needs. Under Dan’s direction, we accept compensation from no other source, ensuring the integrity of our advice and guidance. As Managing Director, Dan oversees all consulting efforts for the firm.
Dan has over 25 years of experience in retirement plans. He has provided consulting and fiduciary advisory services to over 300 major corporations in the areas of plan design, investment consulting, record keeping administration and employee communications. Dan has extensive experience in the management and operation of retirement plans, including advising and assisting plan sponsors in their fiduciary responsibilities involving qualified plan issues.
Prior to founding the firm, Dan was Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors for Wyatt Asset Services, Inc. He was also a member of Wyatt's National Defined Contribution Practice Committee and a key contributor to a number of strategic initiatives for the firm.
Dan is frequently quoted in industry publications, including Institutional Investor, Pensions & Investments, and PlanSponsor magazines. He authors articles and lectures extensively on a national basis. Dan was nominated by industry peers for 401(k) Wire’s 2007 and 2008 Fifty Most Influential within the 401(k) industry.
