Allen R. Weisz

Chief Consulting Officer

Allen R. Weisz leads the ERISA consulting practice for DCAdvisors, supporting all client fiduciary activities – from investment monitoring to recordkeeping provider searches. Allen is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and coordinates account management efforts.

Allen has over 20 years experience in retirement benefits, developed through public accounting, plan management on the plan sponsor side, and consulting through DCAdvisors. Most recently, Allen was the Chief Financial Officer at the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, managing payroll, internal operations and benefit programs.

Allen also served as Manager of Retirement Benefits and Payroll at Dain Rauscher (formerly Interra Financial), consolidating multiple payroll departments, designing retirement benefit and total compensation communications, administering several non-qualified deferred compensation programs, managing plan design and administrative outsourcing, and supervising plan audits. Allen started his career at KPMG working as both an auditor and tax accountant, supporting the employee benefits area on the tax side performing compliance reviews.

Allen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas, and is a member of the American Institute and Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. Allen maintains his Minnesota CPA license in inactive status. Allen has served as past Chair and Vice Chair of the Minneapolis Pension Council and has been a regular speaker at benefit related forums.
